| Team Nevada is not an "Official" organization and there is no "membership" as such. If you are a USAT member Taekwondo athlete aspiring to compete at the National level, you are Team Nevada Taekwondo. We want to work with you! |
We are athletes, instructors, coaches, parents and supporters who have chosen to work together for the benefit of
our Nevada Takwondo athletes.
Our goal is to work together with all interested parties to organize and support the athletes who represent our state at
National competitions.
Some of the projects we will be working on for 2006 include;
1. Promoting consensus and coperation among all interested parties to present a united front at National venues.
2. Providing a High Performance Training Program to prepare athletes for Senior and Junior National competition.
2. Promoting standard uniform and apparel for all team members.
3. Obtaining sponsorship support for Team travel to national competition.
Credit for giving momentum to this initiative goes to Mrs. Martha Alba of Mesquite who put forth the proposal at a
meeting on July 14, 2005. In the coming months we will be gathering input and ideas from the Nevada Taekwondo
community as we move forward in support of our local athletes.
