Miss Roa Holds the Kukkiwon rank of 1st Dan which she attained on
July 25, 2004 at age 16.
She completed the WTF Class D Referee Seminar on August 2, 2002
Miss Roa began practicing Taekwondo in her native Colombia at age
eleven. In 2001 she gained national recognition as the Best
Taekwondoist Category A andin 2002 she was acclaimed
Sportswoman of the Year.
Before leaving Colombia to come to Las Vegas Miss Roa qualified at
Team Trials to represent Colombia at the Pan American Games.
Miss Roa is a High School Honor Roll student and a member of the
US Navy ROTC. She teaches at World Academy of taekwondo &
Hapkido. She trains in the LAITF High Prformance Program under
Masters George Tapia and Todd Phillips.
